Tip of the Day:  Perfect Roast Every Time!

Do you love Beef  roasts but have a hard time getting the beef tender & tasty?  How about Pork?  Fall apart, melt in your mouth, Pork and Beef is easier than you thought.

This has become a favorite in our household and now my mother makes beef roasts, which she would never eat before until she came over for dinner and I sent her home with the recipe.

Items needed:

  • Crock-Pot
  • Beef or Pork roast, even tough cuts work well here
  • 1-2 cans of condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope of some type of beef mix such as beefy onion, beefy onion & mushroom or whatever is your favorite
  • salt & pepper
  • anything else you like such as onion, extra mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce
  • water

Pour in the can(s) of soup, beefy envelope mix then blend with 2-4 cups of water (more if needed, make sure meat is covered), depending on size of roast and crock-pot.  Add your salt & pepper to taste along with onions or mushrooms or Worcestershire sauce.  Then add your roast and cook on high 4-5 hours or until roast falls apart trying to get it out.

Use the mushroom gravy juice in crock-pot to pour over meat or add a little corn starch to make a thicker gravy.

Delicious every time.  Don’t be afraid to add or omit things as you like but the soup and envelope mix help give the meat a terrific flavor and pre-made tasty gravy.

Enjoy!
