Tip of the day: Oven roasted potatoes sticking to your baking sheet? Well not any more!
If you’re like me and you love oven roasted potatoes with seasoning such as lipton onion or beefy onion soup mix then you may have realized that no amount of oil keeps them from sticking to the baking sheet. I don’t use non-stick baking sheets and boy do them little suckers stick and all the brown goodness is wasted.
Well here’s the trick. Cut up potatoes as you would normally and boil them for 4-5 minutes BEFORE tossing with oil and seasoning. Then mix quickly and dump it on the baking sheet and bake per the instructions.
Wa La! No more stuck potatoes. It also cooks the potatoes quicker so watch your baking time.
