Tinker, my Maltese, was going nuts in the living room barking up a storm. Finally dropped what I was doing to see what her problem was. She spotted a family of 5 deer munching down by the pond. They hung out for about 30 minutes and I was scrambling to find batteries that would work and what would take the pics because it was almost dark. So here is the best pic I could get of all 5 together. They started walking slowly along the back fence line. They then huddled in the corner of 2 fences trying to figure out how to get over to the cow pasture next door.
They are so beautiful and graceful. We get a lot of deer and other critters around here but not too many families of 5, usually 1, 2, 3. I wonder if they are cold this evening. It is supposed to be around 7 degrees, brrrrr.
Well here they are. Enjoy!
Looks to be Momma, Poppa and 3 babies. Click image for a bigger view.

Hey knock it off! lol just kidding.
You don't need land to get them in your yard, just gotta live where they live. Our house we sold had 3 deer come cruisin through our yard in broad daylight and we lived in a little community. Was cute as heck. But yeah we love the acreage and I bet your sisters land in Wisconsin is beautiful. Time for a vaca to go see her huh?
Love it! Not sure if your revieving double comments on some of these! My sis has 10 acres in Wisconsin and the deer come right up to her back porch. Wish we had land for the dogs, maybe the deer too, no doubt I would be throwing food out. lol
I love this picture! I wish we had enough land to see deer. Unfortunately the most deer I see don't make it across the highway. ;o( My sister has 10 acres in Wisconsin and they come right up to her back porch.
Thanks! I wish it would have turned out lighter but the sun was setting fast and I couldn’t find a good set of batteries. They were walking ever so slowly, was really cute.
Great picture. Almost looks like the deer are walking down the road.
