I am Crazy for Lock & Lock

And I am coocoo for Coco Puffs!  Hee hee not really but give me a bag of Fruity Pebbles with or without milk and I will munch away, yum!

Seriously now, I love my Lock & Lock’s so much that I have threatened my husband to hang him by his toes over the balcony if he ever microwaves something in them that will ruin them ie:  sugar, red sauces etc.  And just because I’m a little thing doesn’t mean I can’t.  I have the power of an engine hoist in my garage and he was dumb enough to show me how it works.  Ohhhh my, the picture of that in my head is making me giggle considering we don’t have a “balcony” but a deck 2′ off the ground so it’s not like it would hurt him.

Okay, back to my Lock & Lock’s.  What the heck is it you say?  The Lock & Lock’s are the mack daddy of all food containers, that’s what they are.  They have an airtight seal that makes food last longer and are very easy to open and close.

When I started researching food containers I went and looked at the usual brands.  I was so excited when I found the Lock & Lock’s and read about the locking levers on each side with a seal that I bought my first 2 sets of the box you see below.

Now I was a little concerned as I have never bought a nice set before so it seemed a little pricey at first. But man I am here to tell ya from my own personal experience these containers are awesome. I love them so much I bought 2 more sets of the ones you see below and others that are not listed here.

Yep, that’s right, I am having container overload. My husband thinks I’m a nut case but I have more reason than freshness to buy quality containers. We live out in the boonies and have oodles of little teeny tiny field mice that just love our house and the kitchen. As well, we have had a Weeble bug problem and I am sick and tired of throwing out food because of the Weeble bugs.  Now we don’t get them any more and the mice don’t bother the containers. Woot!

I love these containers so much I am contemplating purchasing more because I have virtually thrown out all other crappy containers except the ones I microwave no no stuff in.
