This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

Well dating back to 1979 I have been to the state of Florida 4 times. Every visit was to a different location. However, I have never been to Kissimmee Florida. It seems family always directed us towards the East & West sides of Florida, close to the ocean water. What never occurred to me was that there is a whole lot of fun to be had smack in the middle of Florida.

So hubby and I have been researching for our last week of vacation as he gets a total of 4 weeks off this year and we plan to use them all! We want to go somewhere “tropical” and warm. The first state that comes to mind is always Florida for us. We love the place. I have found a perfect place to play because we both pretty much think alike.  Kissimmee Florida would have all the fun we need without having to drive very far for anything.

Visit Kissimmee and you get a great website that points out things to do, places to stay & what’s nearby.

Things to do lists activities for all ages such as theme parks for families. Think Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World & SeaWorld. Then of course there are adult activities such as the night life section, golf or outdoors.

Kissimmee FL has so many things to do for all ages that you won’t have to worry about leaving anyone out in your group.

I have already picked the 1st activity, as this is an easy one, we see it on TV all the time. We want to go Airboating. Yep, that’s right. I want to cruise through the glades and see nature at it’s best.

And I will have my camera ready because I better see an alligator and some more wildlife.  I have a pic of my family holding one from our last Florida trip but can’t find it.  When I do I will update and post the pic.

So what would be next?  Oh another easy one.  We absolutely have to be outdoors and here it is, zip line fun!  I’ve never even seen it up close but I also watch this stuff on TV and I’ll tell ya what, I would love to be flying through the trees on a rope.  A piece of heaven in the air.

I’m at a place in my life where I feel adventurous and want to tackle everything I have ever dreamed of and a trip to Kissimmee Florida would tick off that list quickly!  I guess you could say it’s my “bucket” list.  If you haven’t seen the movie I highly recommend it.  It will get you thinking about life and what you want to see and do.

So moving on to another fun activity, as most of our friends know we are animal lovers, what would a trip to Florida be without going to SeaWorld.

I have been to SeaWorld twice and would definitely go again.  I love all the animals and I love to touch as many of them as I can, I am such a big kid.  I am sure I could find a place that would let me swim with the dolphins.  Oh I would never forget that.  I am so little and they are so big and beautiful.  That would tickle me something fierce.

So now your wondering just where in the world would I stay in Kissimmee Florida to enjoy all that outdoor fun.  Again, this is easy as we are avid campers and just recently bought a 5th wheel.  I found a really nice looking place, Tropical Palms Resort.

They have that moss I love.  I can’t remember the name of the moss but that stuff is intoxicating to look at draped over the trees.

So there you have it folks.  My perfect vacation is planned.  This is what makes me tick;  sunshine, animals, outdoors.  And I am sure I would find even more things to do once I got there.  Nothing like seeing the sites while just looking around.  Heck I may even mosey on up to a night life cafe bar & grill and kick a few back with my best friend my husband!

Sounds like bliss to me :)

Go check them out! You won’t be sorry!

Oh but ME, I am the one you should worry about. I am just brave enough or wild enough to get my self hurt! Whaa! Hee hee. Cool your cousin got to go but a bummer it scared the crap out of her. I will keep you posted on how my experience goes…….

Awesome! So coincidental that you’re talking about white water rafting. I have a cousin(about 25 yrs old) and she shared her white water rafting experience with me recently and she just said she had the worst time ever. She was so scared for her life(or so she says). I guess it’s really not for the faint of heart or she’s just a dramatic young lady. You? I’m not worried about at all. Definitely can’t wait to see the pics! And I will add you on Twitter soon! Woohoo!

Yes ma’am I am. I figure I better get what I can outta life because I will not live forever. Hubby agreed to white water rafting on our Colorado trip woo hoo! I hope to have some pics. I am reading my camera book so I can get more “cool” moment pics from our little vacations so I can share with everyone. I also got a cool new phone that lets me upload these pics too. I post them to Twitter so don’t forget to add me so you can see them as I take them :)
