Ford earns the Jackass award!

Post image for Ford earns the Jackass award!

I am in the mood for a rant at this very moment.  Dear hubby calls from work to tell me the latest uproar at work (Ford).  A while back negotiations were opened to eliminate all bonuses to the little minions that work at Ford.  Okay, for the sake of the economy and the company we all agreed to take this hit and will learn to live without our bonuses for a couple of years if not forever.

So what does Big Corporate Business FORD post today.  Oh hey, they posted 1 billion in profits for last year so lets give all the management (pencil pushers) not 1 but 2 bonuses.  WTF!  The company asks and receives give backs from it’s hard and loyal workers all to kick them in the face when a profit is posted.

But alas, this does seem to be Big Corporate Businesses policies these days.  You know what I’m talking about.  How about all the dumb asses that help sink the banking industry and get all kinds of money from the government and the taxpayers of this great country, only to turn around and laugh all the way to the bank with BIG BONUSES!

I am so sick and tired living in this rat race with Big Corporate Businesses and long for the day hubby can tell them “take this job and shove it”.  He “was” trying to work a few more years to hit retirement, he’s technically been there 27 years but only 22 years vested because he was considered temporary for his first 5 years, so he can’t retire yet.

And it’s not only Ford it’s every other big business that we are sick of.  They have always and will always steal from the backs of their hard workers!  Shame on every one of them and to them I say, “your time will come and you will have to pay for all the pain you have caused regular folks”.

Okay, I’m off my soap box.

But one more word of caution:  Do NOT buy the juice Naked, watermelon chill, bare breeze.  Man that stuff is CRAP!  And for $2.99 it is going down the drain.  Yucky, yucky!

Have a good day folks!

Don’t buy any automotive from Ford. The worst company with bad service I have ever seen. Also the parts are costly too when compared with other ones and a normal person can’t withstand this.

I dont know much about Ford Company. They may be bad.

Never said I “hate” Ford, just pissed off at them. Now Toyota is a different story.

The Fly March 17, 2010 at 5:24 pm

I haven’t heard anything about it. May have to go check it out. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Bluray March 17, 2010 at 8:41 am

I heard that Ford has revealed that they are being targeted in a black hat SEO malware attack. Is it true?

theflyonthewall March 2, 2010 at 11:11 pm

I am a little surprised you would recommend Toyota as they blatantly sold cars knowing they had malfunctions with them and admitted this to our government. They admitted they saved a lot of money by waiting to do the recall. So they did not care they purposely endangered our lives. Hmmm, I think I will pass on Toyota as my families safety is much too important.

Thanks for visiting and for your comment.

Jewellery March 2, 2010 at 9:53 pm

I recommend Toyota than Ford. Its the best automobile company recommended

The Fly February 26, 2010 at 9:51 pm

Yeah it appears that only the Ford haters are replying but I do know there are still many Ford lovers out there.

PS If any readers are a foreign car supporter go buy a Toyota, they admitted they knew about the auto problems but sold the cars to the public anyway. Hmmmm, what does that tell ya about what they think of us? And the American people hate Ford humpf!

All the comments here says that public hates Ford.

Hi Fly, I like to share an interesting news for you –

The Fly February 16, 2010 at 11:53 pm

You are quite right in your description of what’s happening except that this statement:

“But, what the public gets is that any idiot can stand in a line tightening bolts, and Ford workers have gone out of their way to sabotage the product in the past, etc, etc.”

This is actually very FALSE as my husband has trained so many, many people that could NOT hack the job that they would quit before the 1st or 2nd week was up. The job is very hard (demanding) on the body and some of the actual jobs are near to impossible to accomplish with all that needs to be done within a few second. And these where people from all walks of life and some with degrees others with none. That’s why he had to train so many people in so many groups because these new workers “the public” learn very quickly it is not as easy as everyone thinks.

And yeah I imagine what the Chevy workers are thinking :) Glad to have you stop by.

Beth Charette@legosets February 16, 2010 at 6:46 am

Yep!

The argument is that the “executive team” drives profits, not workers.
Of course, that’s only on the executive floor that anyone would say that out loud.

The fact is that the board of directors of any company has to look the management team in the face when they deny bonuses. And, the group is really tiny as compared to the workers.

The auto unions have so much mud on their faces now that it is actually “popular” with the public to deny any bonuses to the workers. Do that, and the public is MORE not LESS likely to buy the product.

It’s a nasty thing to say, but the thuggish behaviors of union officials in the past have made it harder not easier to justify purchasing the product.

I ONLY BUY FORD, so please don’t consider me an enemy for saying this. It has nothing to do with the actual workers.

But, what the public gets is that any idiot can stand in a line tightening bolts, and Ford workers have gone out of their way to sabotage the product in the past, etc, etc.

In other words, when someone comes out of high school, gets in an assembly line after two hours training, and then expects to make $100,000 with overtime that our, the public’s, grandmothers are going to have to pay out of their small teacher’s retirement, that doesn’t go down well with the public.

All this time the executives who bring in a billion dollar profit for an American car company in this climate have got to be considered miracle workers.

The public gives no credit whatsover to the bolt tighteners for this kind of performance. If anything, the unions have made it look like the management must turn a profit despite workers who couldn’t run a business of their own if their lives depended on it.

And, believe me. I am a Ford Lover. So, you can imagine what the Chevy lover thinks of the Ford worker.

The Fly February 16, 2010 at 1:01 am

Bill, hubby likes Chevy for making hot rods :)

The Fly February 16, 2010 at 12:59 am

Model, this comment confused me a little. Did you mean “Hope they AREN’T cheating their coworkers a lot”. Also, what gives you the impression that relatives have worked there? Just wondering.

model beauty fashion February 14, 2010 at 6:36 am

I dont know much about Ford Company. But most of the opinions that I got from different online forums and comments, I am little bit confused. Hope they are cheating their coworkers a lot. I can understand your feeling. I think your relatives may have worked there.

From my point of view, ford is a best company. What makes you feel bad about this industry?

The Fly February 10, 2010 at 4:44 pm

I agree. I’m just so frustrated at the way big companies treat the “little guys” so to speak. They wouldn’t be where they are without the workers!

Yes, ford is doing well and I am happy for that. But they are screwing their workers in the mean time. They are NOT taking away and giving back equally in their work force. They would not be where they are without the hard work from ALL their workers, not just upper management and white collar workers! Everyone has given back for the sake of the company now they are restoring pay and benefits only for a select few not everyone that gave back. Does that make sense. Can’t really explain it any better. While everyone is thankful to have a job, no one likes a company who does not believe in and care for their workforce.

The Fly February 5, 2010 at 1:54 pm

It means they are not giving back to the hard workers that made it happen. It means that they feel only the white collar workers deserve the extras. It means they are NOT sharing their profitability with everyone including those that “gave back” so much when the company needed them to the most. It means SHAME ON FORD!
