Well I am happy to say we made it back home unscathed. What the heck is wrong with drivers on the holidays? It took us over 1 1/2 hours longer to get back home because right off the bat we had to crawl through 3 accidents before we even came close to the half way point home.
Then the rest of the way home we kept hitting bumper to bumper traffic jams. UGH! I hate traveling during the holidays. People become “stupid” drivers. That’s the nicest thing I can say about it.
Now I understand that traffic on major interstates will get busy but sometimes it’s just ignorant. People speeding like a bat out of hell and zipping around like they are going to miss something. And oh don’t even get me started on the cell phone use. Put the damn phones in your lap and use speaker phone. It works, I do it all the time. Our family has an understanding that when we tell them “hang on” that something has come up and everyone stops talking until the driver says “ok”. Now we have to talk a little louder on speaker phone, but hey get over yourself, others lives are at stake here.
But anyway, I could rant on and on about the cell phone issue but I won’t, makes me cranky.
The sad part of holidays is that someone always gets hurt or killed because others are too wrapped up in themselves to pay attention and drive. Not to mention the drunks on the road, that’s an even bigger pet peeve of mine.
So as I said we are safe and sound and I can resume my blogging activity and I will post some more fun stuff to read and chuckle about. So toodles for now and have a great week!

Yep, the holiday season makes people really scary drivers. Glad you made it safe too, bet you where gritting your teeth
Yeah ure rite. Usually the drivers Malaysia are already a bunch of selfish dimwits and then, when it’s the festive season, they’ll be 10x worst and put everybody’s life in danger. I was on the way back from Johor to Kuala Lumpur and what could’ve been 3 hour plus drive stretched to almost 6 hours. Luckily I wasn’t driving but I felt so dizzy along the way. Ugh!
